Theogony, a great feast

Inspired from Hesiod’s “Theogony”, the play brings two different worlds together, a wedding taking place at the theatre of Epidaurus and a world consisting of creatures and stories found in the work of Hesiod – a quasi mythological collage. The two worlds are running simultaneously, as two parallel lines, till the point that they meet each other.
The two composers – performers, who are the band of the wedding, also create the sound world of the second dimension using live acoustic and electronic sound.
The work was produced in cooperation with Patari Project theatre group, specialized in physical theatre and the platform technique, which means performing in restricted spaces.
